# Privacy Policy — Mahjong Riichi Calculator

_Last updated: 26 June 2026_

Mahjong Riichi Calculator (further referenced to as "the app") is designed to respect your privacy. This
policy explains what the app does — and does not do — with your data.

## Data we collect
**None.** The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.

## Camera and photos
With your permission, the app uses your camera or photo library so you can scan a
mahjong hand. Tile detection runs **entirely on your device**. Images are
processed locally to find the tiles and are **not uploaded, saved by the app, or
shared with anyone**. The app does not retain the photo after the hand is scored.

## Internet
The app does not require an internet connection to score a hand and does not send
your hands or images anywhere.

## Children
The app does not collect any data and is suitable for general audiences.

## Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
